Bishop's Message

The Baldwin Boy’s High School has been at the forefront of the educational scene in Bangalore for the past 125 years.
One generation succeeds another and each generation leaves its indelible imprint-a legacy of history. History is events and happenings and the story of people who make things happen.
This is evident in every sphere of life. In respect of any institution too this is true.

Baldwin Boys' High School has been shaped by the legacy it has inherited-it is an institution which has survived the winds of time.

The school had small beginnings but a rich heritage -a heritage, which is a result of the foresight, dedication, sacrifice and toil of our founders. "Righteousness and Truth" were the motto or hallmarks on which the school was founded-these have taken the school through the years. In
a world of change and decay-with the deterioration of the world's value systems, may the changeless values of God be our forte.

In present age with its technology and all kinds of advancement and the coming of the computer age will educate and equip students for the challenges of life. We will endeavor to equip them to be more informed and effective citizens of our cour country.

Many students who have passed through the protals of our school have done well and brought laurels to the school, their teachers, parents and themselves. Recognition, awards, laurels certainly bring us a sense of satisfaction and great joy. It is not just the feeling of ecstasy over our accomplishments for ourselves-but for society too. All of us cannot be great achievers academically-for we all have our separate strengths. Education is more than learning the three R's of Education-but should make us better people. To that end we will continue to strive. The striving together is what will enable us to pass on the legacy of Baldwins to those who will follow. We hope and pray that the banner of the school will continue to be lifted high to bear it onward.

May God continue to use the efforts of the Principal, Staff, Students and Parents.

Yours Sincerely

Bishop Dr. Taranath Sagar
